since Alasdair and Alastair updated, I shall too
I have a roll of film waiting to be developed, my problem is I have a lack of money, so I can’t afford to buy and develop film right now. Especially since I don’t have any where local to get it developed, I have to send it away and the prices have gone up a lot since I got my first roll done. I really miss doing it and I hope I can get back on track with it soon. Anways, I’ll...

Procrastination
Massive cringe looking at the total myspace photo on my first post a couple of weeks ago. Siiiiiigh.  Anyway, here are some shots of to help everyone stave off the revision for a couple more minutes.  Jess x

Disapointed
I’ve just had back a roll of B&W film. Really disapointed tho, it turns out that only 4 of the frames exposed properly and even one of those didn’t really come out right :( so I’ve only got 3 photos to show you this time, they are the last 3 on the roll so its not my camera either!! I do hope you enjoy them anyway, and hopefully some more will work on the next roll! Cheers ...

Hi, I'm Jess
Hello! I’m a 20 year old Australian, rather unenthusiastically studying Computer Science and Philosophy at the University of Edinburgh. Routine musings and artwork can be found here - http://jisusu.deviantart.com/ and here - http://thetasteofthegoodlife.blogspot.com/. I am traditionally a pencil/paper/watercolour kind of person, but after getting a Polaroid one a couple of years ago, I...

Fisheye time.
Well, here we go, with my first ever roll of film, through my first film camera. Fisheye’d of course. Let’s start of with some accidental double exposures: The recently shut-down Borders, Glasgow The museum of modern art: And some badboy traffic lights: I don’t know what was so red, but it’s a bit annoying XD Next was a couple of photo’s of my friends at a...

oh my giddy goodness
well hello, I have some photos to share with you from my very own Diana. I used a 35mm adapter for the first few rolls of film while I got used to her - will start shooting on 120 soon. I’m pretty happy with these, although it was kind of hit and miss. anyway, without further ado… I began with a bit of black and white. double exposures are sometimes intentional, mostly accidental. shhh. happy...

New Holga shots soon... hopefully
I’ve been super lazy lately, I have 2 rolls of film waiting to be used, I’ve had them since christmas but I keep forgetting. Soon I’ll load up my Holga and start shooting again, maybe some nice snow shots. It’ll probably be a few weeks cos I need some money to send the films off to be developed and they take a week to be sent back to me. Anyway, hope everyone is having a...

a miniature update
Hello everyone. I hope you are all as infatuated with Alastair and Amelia’s gorgeous photos as I am, dreamy or what? Amelia’s remind me of some sort of blissful secret garden… and I was present for many of Alastair’s so slightly less imagination required. Anyway, the purpose of this is sadly not to share any photos of my own with you - my scanner and I are separated over...

london larks.
Hello again, Here we have the beauty of slough train station, Nick’s trampoline tricks, a tree by a river, and a hell of a lot of naked people. In other words, a brief summary of June 2009. with love from the bottom of my super-samplin’ heart, ANNA.

hello, my name is Anna.
I’m 20 and studying History and Architectural History at Edinburgh. My Lomo super-sampler is badly behaved, creaky and entirely unpredictable. I love it unconditionally. I also like to draw (mostly naked people or buildings), write for a few studenty publications - shameless self-promotion will inevitably occur on here - and dance like my dad. Recent photography subjects have included...

I am Amelia
I’m Amelia or AJ, I’m 20 years old and from South Wales. I recently got into film photography and discovered lomography. I got myself a Holga 120N and started shooting. I wanted something different from photography besides clean, crisp, predictable images from a digital camera, so I started searching for something else and found lomography. I do experiment with different film cameras...
